Boy Meets Girls
[Spoiler (click to open)]Originally, Ski was sent by her mentor to pick up Rune. The current rewrite
will have a new meeting, where Rune arrives via the Temple instead. Either way, he becomes a
member of their squadron as they battle the occasional demon and work to solve the mystery of their appearance.
Ski is engaged to Prince Terrel, 3rd son to King Ferrol, but it's not an arrangement she's ever been particularly fond of,
and the new arrival in her life soon has her questioning whether she wishes to go through with it.

Harvest Ball, 1254
[Spoiler (click to open)]The Ski/Rune tension comes to a head when Ski has too much to drink and makes a pass at him. Rune turns her down, but decides to see if the offer still stands when she's sober. [The next day...]They head out to town for a date [*]which ends with the two of them in her bed that night.[At the debriefing the following day]Ski's mother is suspicious and warns her that if anything inappropriate is happening between her and Rune, she will arrange to have her transferred.
