Today another photo from the old neighbourhood I grew up in in Athens. Glyfada is a nice suburb, it has both a mountain and a sea-front. This photo was taken on the seafront. Sometimes in your walks you can come across strange make-shift constructions that can be quite interesting, and from the right angle quite pretty too. I'm not sure what this was, probably some sort of shelter for a group to meet. Maybe a group of fishermen. You can see the reed and bamboo blinds that have been used to protect from the sun and the fishing net that has been hung haphazardly. There even seems too be some old hand-made presentation still hanging there as well as some old deflated balloons. Maybe the shelter was made for some sort of event.
This photo was taken quite a few years ago and last time I passed by there, the structure no longer existed. As an added bonus I'm also sharing two photos of the view you would get from the structure. One taken in the evening and the other in the day.
