Today's photo might not look christmassy, but it was actually taken during the Christmas season of 2010.
The main central square of Athens, Syntagma Square, always bears the brunt of holidays and events. Over christmas it is filled with an over-large tree, on occasion a twee christmas village market, some-times a merry-co-round, but always various roving pedlars and salespeople.
Brightest of the lot are the Roma women who usually sell things like balloons for children.
