100 things: 100 photos - photo 8

I've let my 100 things slide again! Let's play a bit of catch up. Prepare to be spammed over the next couple of weeks - until I forget again that is.

Contemporary Museums are our Cathedrals and Palaces of the twentieth century. I particularly like museums of modern art. Probably due to their contents, they are often even more irreverent and more obviously "objets d'art" in themselves. Isn't that an interesting thought? A large monumental piece of art in which to house other pieces of art. A babushka or a trojan horse? It depends, I guess, on whether you believe the outer shell candidly reflects the artefacts in it's interior, or rather misdirects us.

Enough of that. Here are two photos taken from the interiors of famous Museums of Modern Art. One is from the Tate Modern in London and one is from the Pompidou Centre in Paris. Guess which one is which? It is rather an easy question for anyone who has visited at least one of them.
