Yes, I hope to eventually finish my 100 things challenge!
Today I'm going black and white with two photos from near my old neighbourhood in Athens. Athens is one of those cities where the sky above the roads is criss-crossed with all sorts of wires. Telephone wires, electricity wires, tram wires.
All these wires together with the tall buildings and narrow streets on the one hand make you feel caged in, but on the other have become the part of rich and random tapestry that is Athens. They also make good perching lines for the multitude of pigeons that plague the city.
London is much neater, as in all these wires are hidden here. But where do the pigeons perch? Looking at these photos I can't help but feel a bit homesick.
