Foody Thursday - Avocado and Smoked Salmon Terrine

Dec 12, 2013 09:53

Excellent starter, easy and fast to make. This is a "Lady Pleaser", from my experience more appealing to girls then guys, but you never know - have to try!

1 large avocado
1/2 lb  smoked salmon
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 medium size potatoes
1 large tomato
sour-cream (or mayo)
sweet mustard
pepper
salt
dill
1/2 onion - minced
1.   Cover a deep square dish with plastic wrap
2. Peel and cube avocado, sprinkle with some salt and lemon juice, form a first layer in the bottom of a dish
3. Add a layer of minced dill, followed by a layer of sour-cream mixed with mustard

4. Cube salmon, add minced onion, form the next layer, again followed by sour-cream-and-mustard mixture

5. Cube tomato, form the next layer

6. Cube cooked potatoes, form the last layer

7. Cover with cling wrap, refrigerate for 15-20 min

8. Turn upside-down on a flat platter, remove plastic wrap, serve with lemon wedges

9. Enjoy!
