Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - part c
John is a little surprised to see the “pretty but stupid” mob have guns trained on him.
Jack appears and Ianto maintains watching John, but he is also very aware of where Jack is at all times.
He doesn’t seem to like Captain John very much.
Jack has walked past him, so he raises his weapon again.
Although he does consider the possibility of an orgy for a split second and then goes back to disliking John intensely. Ianto has been the only member of the team to remain silent throughout this whole exchange. But John directs his orgy question directly to Ianto. He considers it briefly but then raises his gun higher, giving John the answer to his question without saying a word.
In Jack’s office, Ianto is very stiff backed and wary of John still. Very butler pose.
What makes Ianto happy? Well, the chance to use his stopwatch. “Always at the ready.” But this time it is to count down when John might be blowing up.
See, happy face! He doesn’t care about the rest of Cardiff blowing up, just that John will be leaving. Permanently.
John then pulls a swift move and punches Jack, taking Gwen as a hostage. Ianto is at Jack’s side, being a capable field agent.
Jack might have lowered his gun, but Ianto still perceives John as a threat. Ianto has glanced at Jack to see what Jack is going to do when John has handcuffed himself to Gwen.
He still has that stopwatch handy too.
Still got that stopwatch.
It, all of a sudden, has gotten dark.
The rest of the team reacts as Gwen punches John.
Ianto’s focus is still on John and Jack.
The teams reactions to John kissing Jack. Tosh is looking as if this happens often. Owen is focused on Jack, Gwen is seemingly like Tosh that this happens often and it doesn’t bother her, but Ianto is looking at John and the dislike is still there.
John mentions Gray and all three other members focus on Jack, Ianto continues to watch and make sure that John is gone.
The team walks away, Ianto the last the turn.
Here ends episode one of season two, new team dynamics and new chapters in their lives. Time to reevaluate where they are and what they want from each other.
