Today I went to see The Hunger Games with Casey at 1pm. I thought our tickets were for the Moolah but they were actually for the StL Cinema at the Chase. After that mistake was realized we rushed over to the Central West End, found a great parking spot, dashed in, got great seats and too much popcorn, and enjoyed the film. It was a great movie! So Tuesday I had lunch with Carol, and yesterday, Thursday, my Mom was unexpectedly stranded at the St. Louis airport on her way back to CO from France. Huzzah for impromptu mom & daughter time! Her flight was cancelled so I had to pick her up to spend the night with me. Good chatting and visiting before sending her on her way this morning. ( Read more... )

I think I want to have tiger lilies at my wedding. I do love them. I think they've been my favorite flower since Mom planted those peach/pink ones in front of the house. :-)

I also bought two plants today at the tri beta plant sale, because they were 2 for $5. I got a pretty spider plant and a crazy looking aloe plant.
