I've enjoyed reading Cara's blog, academichic upon Anne's recommendation, and what would a nerd wear. I'm realizing though that there are bazillions of fashion blogs out there on the big wide interwebs. It's a little horrifying. I'm also seeing that they're mostly run by weird people. I mean, I'm still going to use this because who knows when I'll get around to shopping for another new journal, and typing is so much easier than writing, but I was just curious if people on my friends page still checked/used lj at all...

Well we're into the New Year! I just printed my LJ Book for 2009, and was quite surprised to see that the book ended up being half as many pages as the previous years' averages. I think I'm just getting busier, plus the friends page is dwindling these days and people don't update as much, so I don't have to check the website as often ( Read more... )

So, if anyone's been reading my posts recently, they're usually little snipets about history, or short random thoughts but few actual updates. So, just got the printed edition of my 2008 LJ, and to my sadness, none of the recent pictures from Fall Semester are in there. :-( I should have previewed the PDF to make sure it was all right first.
