Today I remembered that I hadn't checked mySLU for my course evals yet, and I'm so glad. This batch made me feel GREAT, because for the first time I didn't have a single bad review! Today I went to see The Hunger Games with Casey at 1pm. I thought our tickets were for the Moolah but they were actually for the StL Cinema at the Chase. After that mistake was realized we rushed over to the Central West End, found a great parking spot, dashed in, got great seats and too much popcorn, and enjoyed the film. It was a great movie! When Casey and I got married, we decided that we'd go on a cool vacation at least once a year for as long as we could afford it. We did Spain, then Mexico last year, and this year we went to visit our friends out east in New Jersey and New York. Take-out Chinese food eaten on the couch, cookies for dessert, pink & purple flowers, romantic cards that we each bought today and filled out across the table from one another this evening, catching up on glee via hulu.

This weekend I CRAZY-CLEANED my apartment in anticipation of our guest, successfully entertained and enjoyed the company of our friend David Cox who was here from Friday evening to Sunday late afternoon, ate way too much deliciousness, gave a tour of the St. Louis Cathedral Basilica, learned to play Gin-Rummy, and did ALL my homework due Monday ( Read more... )
