Finished grading. Now how will I ever muster the energy to finish the last of my homework before my LAST OFFICIAL GRAD CLASS tomorrow?

Today was my last day of being in the classroom as a TA. I am happy to have had such a great semester with this group. I learned a lot about teaching this year, and I can't wait to have my own class one day. This morning, it was a clear, cool day. Friday! I decided it was the perfect day to wear my new cropped cream blazer that Mom brought me as an Easter present. It was warm enough out that I didn't need a real coat.

Today I was spontaneous and joined Matt after class on his trip to Forest Park to do homework. I ditched my skirt and flats for shorts and flip flops and grabbed the Paulo Picnic blanket, some papers to grade, my sunglasses, and sunblock and dashed out the door. Packing for vacations is hard because you want to be comfortable, but also look nice, and it's hard to strike a balance. I tend to stick with my comfort zone articles of clothing then, the ones that always make me feel good. And I did that today too, but now my whole suitcase is just full of purple clothes! Sigh. Yesterday was rather up and down. In the morning the school sent me an email that I'd be getting my own class, and in the afternoon I heard back that that was a mistake and I was not getting my own class next fall after all.
