Forest Park Day!

Today I was spontaneous and joined Matt after class on his trip to Forest Park to do homework. I ditched my skirt and flats for shorts and flip flops and grabbed the Paulo Picnic blanket, some papers to grade, my sunglasses, and sunblock and dashed out the door. Despite bringing sunblock I am still sporting my first sunburn of the year, but it was worth it because it was SO BEAUTIFUL OUT. It was breezy, partly sunny, and 70s, and the park is blooming like crazy. It was an idyllic way to spend an afternoon, and I got a lot of grading done. Huzzah for spring spontaneity!
(Now to shower off all the pollen from the day and take lots of benadryl before bed.)
