I miss forests. Maybe I'll make my bedroom a forest.

I did update afterall. I also have a new LJ icon. The talk of an aspen leaf tattoo made me at least want an aspen leaf icon. I think I have an aspen obsession. Until I can take my own picture, this beautiful one will have to do. And I changed my theme to poppies. I love poppies.

Maybe Casey will let me decorate our bathroom green and yellow and I can hang my aspen poster in there after I get it framed this summer. Or maybe the bedroom...
Oh I can't wait to decorate even just a little. I'm thinking forest inspired color palate. Browns, greens, yellows, maybe some autumn colors... Can't do the "purple bedroom" look I've had since middle school when I'm sharing a room with Casey. Must compromise. But Forests are still manly right?

Oh man, decorating in earth tones... I am becoming my mother. She used to have a hunter green bedroom and I always remember thinking "Green's not my color. I don't think I'd ever do a green bedroom." But recently a whole wonderful world of green has been opened up to me, ever since I learned pale people look good in pale green. My graduation dress is green! And here I am, thinking about maybe decorating with green. I just love nature so much. If I can't be near it, since I'll be living in a city, I think I at least need to decorate in its style.

Though, let's be real. What money do I have to decorate with anyway? Haha. That's something you do when you buy a house. Well, I can start with a comforter. I feel like bedspreads set tones for rooms. That and wall art.

Oh man, Casey's doing his homework and studying and being productive and I'm not! ack! Ah senioritis...
