Holy cow. It's been a whirlwind of a summer.  I took my kids down to Florida for a week where we stopped at the Dali museum on the way to Seaworld (spent 13 hours at Seaworld) and then stopped to see Snooty the manatee at the SW Florida museum on the way back down. I just watched Island this morning and found it haunting.  Bleak.  And yet, I'm dissatisfied because I feel like I got the barest hint of the deep story that lies underneath it.

Anyhow, I'm dying to talk about it with anyone who wants to chat here.  There will probably be spoilers, if anyone cares at this point.
