Turn off the inner editor

Let the creativity flow! Don't stopper it with perfection.

Nature is perfectly imperfect. Think about a leaf.

Own your own strengths and talents and experience.  Believe what is being reflected back to you.

Today I went to a lecture by a lady who has been quilting a long time. There is no question that she makes gorgeous quilts, but I couldn't help but feel that she was trying to preach. Like, her way of doing it was the best/only/real way to quilt even though she made references to quilts that had been made in the 80s and how those weren't real ( Read more... )
