Friday night, I got picked up from work by birthmom P, and was her guest at a wedding up on Alberta & NE 18th. Saturday I had signed up for a MeetIn event at Woodstock Wine & Deli. For a while I wasn't sure if I would be able to make it because it had been snowing pretty heavily at my place for several hours. Saturday I went out shopping... I've been trying to find a couple good pairs of shoes for the fall/winter and the trip to NYC but haven't had any luck at the shops downtown. Friday night my folks came in on their way to a cruise in Mexico. I cooked dinner of sauteed zucchini, green beans, salad, mashed red potatoes, and rosemary/garlic chicken. Saturday headed to my hair appointment and got another great cut from my stylist. One funny thing is that she's been trying to match my natural hair color by dyeing/highlighting her hair. Each time I am over there, it's a different color. This time it was almost a perfect match with the bulk of my hair, but not my natural highlights in the front. ( Read more... )
