Did just get some nice round turquoise beads, 10mm, which are a really bright turq color, and I have some 6mm white howlite beads, too. Just did a bracelet with that combination, and it turned out really nice.
I also have some flat oval turquoise beads that are a much paler aqua color. Could do those mixed with some freshwater pearls and/or some onyx beads, for a really distinctive contrast.
Ooooh awesome! I recently bought a bunch of black & white stuff with black embroidery on white pants and white skirts etc. and the black/white/turquoise would rock and set it off.

With you on the pizza thing, I caved and ordered it for dinner on sunday night, but am making four meals out of it instead of my historical two. :)
One of these days we should try to sync up our schedules and catch up in person... it's been years!
