Friday I had off from work for "Spring Holiday". That was pretty cool. Slept in, did some laundry, went to the library to pick up some books and went grocery shopping.
Saturday did some more laundry, cleaned my den, finished up the dishes from the dinner party on Tuesday (send off for my folks with my Aunt & Uncle invited). Then had neighbor P over for dessert and wine to toast our new jobs. We sped through four episodes of Men in Trees so P could see his favorite man candy. It was fun snarking on the other scenes. I don't understand how that show survives!
Today, slept in some more, stopped at the library, and went to dinner and a movie with
ghstintheshl.... Arctic Circle fry sauce and yukon gold fries. Yumm! Movie was Doomsday. Pretty good for a post-apocalyptic virus movie. Fun factoid about the flick is that Malcom McDowall, who plays the scientist studying the virus and now "king" of a medieval-type Scotland, and Alexander Siddig (who plays the Prime Minister in the Safe Zone of England) are actually related. Siddig is McDowall's nephew!
