     Today, trixstir  and I celebrated our 7th Wedding Anniversary!  Three days ago, we celebrated the Munchkin's 1st Birthday (I've been trying to upload some pictures ever since!)  It's hard to believe that the Munchkin is a year old already, and even harder to believe that Trixstir and I have been married for seven years now!  Time sure flies!

     I had meant to post something on the 4th of July, wishing well to my American friends, but the last several days have been so busy I haven't even had time to log on.

Days at the shop have been slow in some ways, too fast in others.  I'm not making a huge amount of progress in the current work-load because just about everything is waiting ( Read more... )

     According to the Environment Canada web site, it was supposed to get up to 34°c today. I don't know if it did, but I know the upstairs part of the house is at 28.8°c, which is why I'm sitting downstairs at the computer where it's a more comfortable 24.5°c!

     Saturday was a busy day in town, catching up on a backlog of machines, which allowed for a well-deserved chance to sleep in a little on Sunday.  Not too much though, as we wanted to head out to Looney Pond for brunch.  Trixstir's mother is visiting for the weekend, and she's never been to Looney Pond, so that was another reason for going.  ( Read more... )

     We had a bit of "fun" this morning, when a cat-fight led to a horse-escape.  Or more correctly, a horse-and-hinny escape!
