I'm really enjoying Kitchener.  The people I've interviewed have been amazing.  I really enjoyed talking to them and if I lived here I'd love to hang out with them and cultivate their friendship.  I've got one more interview to do tomorrow and then I'm on the train for London.

Relationship

Today is the day. Apart from dinner, we have no plans, which suits me fine.

I've been birthdaying all month, which has been fun.  So today feels very much about the anniversary.  mr_pugh and I have been married for 16 years now, and I am loving every minute of it.  It's sickening, really, how much I still get excited when he comes through the door.  

There's a lot going on in my mind lately that I'd love to post about, but I've been too busy to do so.  I'm heading to Ottawa tomorrow for five days to attend the Rainbow Health Ontario conference, volunteering/working, and presenting two workshops.  I still have work to do on the workshops I'm presenting there, which leaves me less than thrilled ( Read more... )

It's the end of a decade for me.  Sunday the 1st is my last shift at Bay St. Video.  It's been great there and I'll miss it, but it's also kind of exciting.  From that point on I'll be able to work at CAMH on Tuesdays, which means I'll have Friday, Saturday and Sundays off.  Of course I have the job writing fact sheets for Rainbow Health Ontario, ( Read more... )

On Saturday when I learned that my cousin, Paula was in town.  I went  down to the Black Bull and spent a few hours with her, her partner, and my brother.  It was a lot of fun. Reconnecting with my relatives has given me a new appreciation for family similarities, but it also shows me how I'm a distinct person.  It's interesting.
