It's the end of a decade for me.  Sunday the 1st is my last shift at Bay St. Video.  It's been great there and I'll miss it, but it's also kind of exciting.  From that point on I'll be able to work at CAMH on Tuesdays, which means I'll have Friday, Saturday and Sundays off.  Of course I have the job writing fact sheets for Rainbow Health Ontario, ( Read more... )

I've done two gigantic loads of laundry. My AAR proposal to the Queer Theory and LGBT Studies in Religion consultation has been rejected.  Le Sigh.  That leaves one still to hear back on.  If I don't get picked to present there's no way I can justify paying to go to Atlanta. Beaucoup de sigh.

• I totally vegged yesterday and it was awesome.  mr_pugh  had picked up some snacks, including a chocolate bunny.  I picked up some food and made a great dinner.  Brown rice, cooked to perfection in the rice steamer.  To this I added smoked tofu fried with mushrooms, onions, corn, peas, green beans, carrots and lima beans.  I also added some vegan chicken ( Read more... )
