I've off work this week, and it's been driving me crazy.  Of course for me, a week off means I'm down to only 1 of 2 jobs, so I had some work to do.  But apart from checking my email every day I didn't do any CAMH work.  And the gap it left in my life was palpable; the way a hand around your throat is.  All week I fought the feeling that I was ( Read more... )

My grant application for the bi women and cannabis project wasn't funded by CIHR.  We got rated 3.3, which is acceptable, but low priority.This is no surprise since they only fund 20% of applications.  However, it has precipitated me panicking about what I'll do after my fellowship ends in November.  It turns out I won't qualify for Ontario Works ( ( Read more... )

Today I updated my In Case of Emergency file.  This is a document that outlines all the things mr_pugh would need to know (account numbers, passwords, phone numbers) to pay our bills and do other tasks if I ever, say, got hit by a car and was in a coma.

My student loan was $52,987.27 when I graduated.  It's now $32.041.56.  I feel pretty excited about this.

I remember the first time I learned to write the date, including the year. It was September of 1978.
