So my husband is staying at his best friends place while working in Seattle this week. His best friend has an intense allergy to gluten/wheat. I'm going to make them some brownies from a mix that I just got at the store. I'm too nervous to make them from scratch and mess up something and make him sick. They'll be delivered Wednesday :o

Adapted from this recipe, which I made unaltered a few months ago and found to be disgustingly sugary, like candied green beans. My friend and boyfriend actually liked the original recipe, so I tried again with some changes. This adaptation is the polar opposite of disgusting. (The friend and boyfriend liked it better too.)
