Gluten/Wheat Free Cooking Spray

Feb 11, 2007 15:56

So my husband is staying at his best friends place while working in Seattle this week.  His best friend has an intense allergy to gluten/wheat.  I'm going to make them some brownies from a mix that I just got at the store.  I'm too nervous to make them from scratch and mess up something and make him sick.  They'll be delivered Wednesday :o)

My question to you is the recipe on the back says to use a gluten-free cooking spray on the pan.  I couldn't find a gluten-free cooking spray.  The closest that I think I found was Mazola Pure (no alcohol, silicone, or fat).  Will this work?  Can I just use butter?

advice, wheat-free, gluten-free
