Yesterday went okay; I stopped off at a coffee shop on the way into work and chatted to the two men working there about the weather while they served me (it was nice to go on a day when they were less busy than usual; not sure if it was people not going in because of staying up for the election result, or just the usual Friday quiet). So, this was hardly unexpected, but Labour won the election; Kier Starmer is now PM. I'm yet to be convinced by him, as I have mentioned before. On the plus side, it seems to also be bye bye, Liz Truss; I could never stand her

I have a whole bunch of challenges at work, which I'm not sure how to tackle; just remembering that it's not a case of "I can't do it", but "I can't do it yet". I've been trying to get the hang of Power BI, and it's quite tricky; no progress today because I didn't get around to it, after an unexpectedly hectic start to the day.
I got outside early this morning for a swim in our local lido. There is now a booking system in place, but its not as onerous as it seems, and you do get a two-hour timeslot (another good thing).
