Today, I'm on an "away day" with people from church, hopefully learning a few new things from the Bible that I'd not known before.

I know I can be difficult at times, but I'll try to see things through the perspective of someone else today, see things as they see it. Maybe I'll understand their point of view, even if they are annoying me.

Yesterday's volunteering went well - there was a lot of having to sweep up the autumn leaves before we could do any planting though; it was a chore, and I did intend to do a run after work, but then saw that colleagues were going to the pub and decided to join them instead, I'll usually choose the pub over a run, its just how I am ( Read more... )

Yesterday, I spent a lot of the day at work on learning events; a course on designing towns with women and girls in the morning, and then a photography course in the afternoon. We did a bit of a walk around and put into practise some of the skills we'd discussed, like using the grid option on the phone camera to help keep photos straight; I liked ( Read more... )

Today, I'm just remembering how it's my choice what I prioritise. I've been trying to edit the book that I've nearly finished writing, but this morning I decided not to get carried away with writing this, and got on with some routines, including indoor fitness, and decided to have a walk before I did half an hour of editing ( Read more... )

This afternoon is "Bobfest", the fundraiser for the music venue I mentioned before that's been threatened with closure; it should be good. Hopefully I'll arrive in time for Bellzzz ( Read more... )
