Yesterday went okay; I stopped off at a coffee shop on the way into work and chatted to the two men working there about the weather while they served me (it was nice to go on a day when they were less busy than usual; not sure if it was people not going in because of staying up for the election result, or just the usual Friday quiet). I ended up having a lazy weekend; trying to find ways to be thankful in the most unexpected places, like maybe the fact that I ended up having no plans and was able to recuperate, in part because a friend cancelled plans to meet up and watch the first England match of the Euros ( Read more... )
