I know I can be harsh on myself at times; my thoughts become self-blaming, and I can ruminate over what went wrong and how it was my fault. So, today I'm going to try and be as kind to myself as I would a friend or loved one

Mum's birthday is soon, and I really need to wrap her presents today - I probably need to check I have wrapping paper to do that with, or take the chance to go to a shop.
