Last night, we had a powercut; it was annoying because it occurred just after I arrived at taekwon-do, so class got cancelled. It lasted only half an hour, but we had another one during the night, so I woke up to find that I had to reset my bedside clock once again ( Read more... )

I ended up having a lazy weekend; trying to find ways to be thankful in the most unexpected places, like maybe the fact that I ended up having no plans and was able to recuperate, in part because a friend cancelled plans to meet up and watch the first England match of the Euros ( Read more... )

Last night seemed exceptionally busy. I get lots of offers of social things, which sound tempting, but I can't do all of them.

So, I'm going to cancel any unnecessary appointments. I've already decided not to go to board games tomorrow. I also got an offer of five-a-side football tonight, but can't realistically go to that either.
