The Friday Five: Retrospective
1. Which television series do you wish they had canceled?
Does it have to be one that's still running? Or one from the past?
Still running: Family Guy should have been cancelled a long time ago; I watched two episodes from ten years ago today, and it was still pretty bad back then. I barely laughed.
From the past: True Blood should have been cancelled around Season Five; it was starting to get pretty bad at that point; the final two were mostly garbage.
2. If you could go back in time and change one thing in history, what would it be and why?
Could I stop Oliver Cromwell from ever getting his reign of terror then? That would be good - stop Charles I being overthrown.
3. Name a song/artist/album that changed your life and why.
Queen, maybe. I started listening to their songs, after hearing some while out with University friends, and have started loving the band.
4. Name one movie you were looking forward to seeing only to be bitterly disappointed by it, then explain why.
The Matrix Reloaded was pretty horiffic; not much plot, a lot of style over substance with the "look-what-we-can-do-with-special-effects", by duplicating Hugo Weaving many, many times, and then a long-winded explanation from the Matrix's creator. I'm surprised I watched Revolutions.
5. Should people really idolize celebrities? (Not just people like Paris Hilton, but others such as Jimi Hendrix, Katharine Hepburn, Jim Morrison, Gene Kelly etc.)
Oh, my goodness, no; so many of the celebrities that people gush over are idiots like Lady Gaga (ewww), and a bunch who I've never heard of.
And Paris Hilton is ghastly
