Happier January: No Filter
Today's Photo a Day prompt is "no filter", though I tend not to use those instagram/snapchat filters anyway.
I've been getting a bit down on myself, but mostly because I got an e-mail from someone yesterday that my Christmas card had finally arrived, but without a stamp, meaning she had to pay for postage, and apparently it wasn't the first time. I swear I am quite diligent with putting stamps on anything I post, but Mum has suggested that maybe it fell off in the post. I think I'm going to start taking pictures of my letters before I send them, as proof that I did affix a stamp.
I went out with Mum today, and showed her some of the snowman sculptures. I'm still realising that I can be quite bad at understanding other peoples' intentions, or seeing the good in them; I feel by default that they are judging me for something I'm doing/saying.
I found out the other day The Nevers has been cancelled; I suppose it was inevitable, and apparently Joss Whedon stepped away from the show. Turns out there are six episodes that I've not seen yet, and I wonder if Sky Atlantic intend to screen these ones.
On Strava, I have logged:
*34km for the January Walking Distance Challenge; and
*Just over 9 hours for Fresh Start.
