I actually got off my duff, and walked for about 20 minutes or so. Not as much as I want to get to, but better than nothing I have been doing. My goal is to walk 2 miles a day, and I know the route I want to take, which I used to take before, so I know it can be done. Well, yesterday's scrubbing has made my ass sore... on the left side only. It may have been when I slipped just a bit on the wet tiles. It makes bending over to pick stuff up literally a pain there.

Well, the shade awning I got faded pretty well in our hot sun. It went from deep forest green, to a light lime green. I may end up painting it next year, if I am so inclined. It also doesn't want to pack up nicely in its bags, especially the poles, which means making up a larger bag to fit them all, probably of canvas, not that plastic stuff. But ( Read more... )

My knees are killing me, so I am taking a break... but my shower floor looks better than it has since we've moved in! And for all the chemicals I tried, nothing works better for those really tough calcium stains than some pumice bar and elbow grease, with a little Ajax on top. Two hours, I am recovering from spending two hours pushing a shopping cart with kids and an ever growing pile of stuff from Costco. Have I mentioned I hate shopping?
