House cleaning progress
My knees are killing me, so I am taking a break... but my shower floor looks better than it has since we've moved in! And for all the chemicals I tried, nothing works better for those really tough calcium stains than some pumice bar and elbow grease, with a little Ajax on top. I've got a couple of moldy spots around the door pegs that need a little bleach to kill it, then it will be on to the shower walls... probably tomorrow. I want to clear the countertop more, and the shower walls are ok for now since we usually wipe it down.
Now my fingertips are prunes. I have rubber gloves, but sometimes the hand just needs no cover to work it right.
I also need to put away some things outside in our backyard, so that the rains tomorrow won't destroy them. I will be doing that this afternoon once Cam gets home, so he and his sister can play on their set before it rains, and while it is nice and cool. Gotta love going from 100+ to the 80s in just a couple of weeks.
Well, off to do some more work...
