Let's go back many eons ago... or at least back to July 2012... when I went to Kassel on a business trip, which was during this art exhibition.

After my boss and I had our rather less thrilling experience in the caves under the vineyard, we walked back into the city through the vineyard this time :-)

After one night in our hotel, we went to Sellin (about 3 km) away the next morning. We planned to take the guided tour through the city.
As we were there quite early, we first went to the Pier in Sellin, looked around a bit and then went to the meeting point.

After we left the Tivoli in Copenhagen, we walked back to Nyhaven and had lunch there. We spent our last 290 DKK (~41 €) on the BLANDEST salmon pasta I've ever had (+ 2 drinks). The cook must have thought that salt was totally overrated, just like any other spices. Luckily they had salt and pepper on the table, but really... food is allowed to ( Read more... )

Today's post is solely dedicated to the 10 minute walk we needed to get from the point where we left the boat to the Tivoli :-)

We walked straight to the city centre of Copenhagen and saw...

We left Uji around 10:30 and arrived in Nara less than 30 min later. The nice man from the bus agency told us which bus to take to get the fastest to Kasuga Taisha. Our plan was start at the "rear end" of Nara and walk from there back to the station.

I'll pick up where we left the last time. In the early morning (from around 8 AM) vc_mel and I first visited the Fushimi Inari near Kyoto and from there we took the train to Uji.
Getting there took less than 30 min, but we had planned to visit Nara after Uji AND be back in Kyoto by 4 PM. Which means: not enough time for Uji by far...
