Let's go back many eons ago... or at least back to July 2012... when I went to Kassel on a business trip, which was during this art exhibition.

After my boss and I had our rather less thrilling experience in the caves under the vineyard, we walked back into the city through the vineyard this time :-)

After one night in our hotel, we went to Sellin (about 3 km) away the next morning. We planned to take the guided tour through the city.
As we were there quite early, we first went to the Pier in Sellin, looked around a bit and then went to the meeting point.

Today was very lovely weather, at least until we finished work ^^;;;

Our plan was to visit the park Wilhelmshöhe and maybe the Hercules statue too. The park itself is HUGE and located in the outskirts of Kassel, but the Castle Wilhelmshöhe and the city centre of Kassel are connected by a main street, which gives you very interesting views ( Read more... )

Or rather: a hotel room and dinner in Kassel ^^;;;

I'll stay in this room for the next four nights, there is a flat screen TV too to the right of the picture and the bathroom is at least twice as big as ours at home _._
