Finally sunshine
After it was raining rather more than less in the last two days, today it was finally sunny :-)
My boss and I went into the "Staatspark Karlsaue", which is a big park next to the city centre. There are quite a few so-called "installations" from the "documenta(13)".
There were swimming gardens (as in "we grow all kinds of salad on boats") and a boulder! in a tree among others. Those were the interesting ones.
After a while we started joking about some branches that lay on the meadow and random waste containers (oh, look, there is an installation too!). Yes, after our experience from yesterday we had a hard time taking modern art serious.
I've also learned that the title of the official guide for the "documenta(13)" is "Ist das Kunst oder kann das weg?" (= Is that art or can it go?)
Which is oh so true for a lot I've seen in the last two days ^^;;;;;
