1. I have been to two school Christmas plays today. From one extreme to the other - the infant play this morning (The Very Hopeless Camel!) in which Little Three was a choir singer in a star hat, and then the Year 5 and 6 Christmas Extravaganza in which Little One and a boy in her class did a very loud duet of Jingle Bells for a spoof Pop Idol type ( Read more... )

Five minutes ago, she was starting Rainbows....

How on earth do they get so grown up so fast?!

This morning at the Scout Hut went really well. :-) They had done a great job setting it up for the 'hikers', with a laptop projecting scenes of mountains onto the wall beside them as they walked, as well as random facts about mountains and the updated statistics of how many feet they had all walked between them coming up every so often! My side/back/whatever it is is really quite painful this morning. It seems to be absolutely fine while I'm walking about - I managed the papers fine yesterday with no problems, but when I sit down or lie down it seizes up - yesterday after the papers I sat down in the car and immediately it hurt lots to turn to the side and fasten my seatbelt.
