I really enjoyed seeing Alice in Wonderland again last night; noticed a few things I hadn't noticed first time around! When I got back, pretty late, I put the hot water on for a bath and by the time it had heated up and I'd had my bath, it was the early hours of the morning before I got to sleep ( Read more... )

After lunch today, and after an awful lot of very slow getting organised, we went round to see Mum. I gave her her Mothering Sunday card, and the plant I had bought her in Asda on Tuesday, which sadly I hadn't remembered to water and was looking rather wilted and sad! I appear to have been sitting here knitting ALL DAY.

Nothing else has been done. The house is a complete tip. And I am expecting my very special visitor shortly!

But I have got a good three and a half inches of cardigan...

I still have two poorly children who are not fit for school. Combine that with my poor mum worriedly taking her very old and very lovely cat to the vets this morning and not knowing what the outcome will be, and it means I am at home with the younger two instead of in school on my placement ( Read more... )
