It was really lovely to wake up in a slightly more leisurely fashion this morning and only have myself to feed and get out of the house!
I almost made myself late because I decided to hang out the washing in the sunshine and there was more of it than I'd realised - but it was good to discover that I can leave Crewe at 9.08 and still arrive in Middlewich at 9.25. At least I could today!
College was good, lots to take in as ever. Once we were done I then went to the Tesco across the road for my weekly shop. By the time I got home it was 2.15, so had half an hour to heat up and eat my lunch, unpack the cold bits of the shopping and get all the washing in before it rained! I shovelled my food down very quickly and dashed off to school in the car 5 minutes later than I should have set off!
Collected the younger two, drove round to Mum's house to collect all their overnight stuff, drove home and set Two going with his homework.
Came upstairs, made three phonecalls, sent one email (because one of the phonecalls was unsuccessful so I emailed instead!), checked the bank accounts online, updated my money program, filed a load of letters....
Still to do, sorting the dry washing so the older two can put it away (it's their washing! Arrangement is: they wash it, I get it dry and sort it into piles, and they put it away. When L3 is six she will start doing her own washing too).
Once they are all in bed I have a backlog of notes from two weeks at college to file into the relevant bits of my folder, and homework to do before Thursday. Thought it would make sense to do it tonight because usually by Tuesday the week has caught up with me already and I'm knackered!
Then if time, knitting and iplayer. I would like to finish the second cardigan sleeve tonight which should be achievable - only three stripes to go!
Now I had better go and unpack the rest of the shopping and get some tea on the table for the children. I'm not ready to eat anything yet seeing as I only had my lunch at 2.15!
