It rained so hard this morning that I thought the car was going to float down the road before we could get in it to go to school!

In fact it has rained every single day since St. Swithin's Day. I don't believe that legend about if it rains on 15th July it will rain every day for 40 days. At least, I didn't believe it... maybe now I will!

I had a reasonable lie in this morning, getting up at about 9, which was lovely. I helped the children pack their stuff for an overnight stay and they went off with Tim soon after half past ten. He's taking them to school tomorrow so I have no further child duties until the afternoon school run tomorrow ( Read more... )
