1. It is cold. Oh so very cold, all of a sudden so we haven't had chance to get used to it gradually. I'm sitting here virtually pinned to the radiator, with my purple hooded fleece on, and the hood up!

2. I think a hot bath is in order soon, and then snuggling down under the duvet straight afterwards!

3. I sent an email to Akela this afternoon about which nights I am helping at Cubs (I had got a bit confused), then 10 minutes later we set off for Tesco. Walked into the store and who was the very first person we saw in the fruit and veg section? Yes, Akela! He had read my email just before coming out himself, so we got it sorted out. Hope he doesn't think I am stalking him *giggles*

4. We bought tinned soup in Tesco and had it for tea with the bread from the breadmaker. The children fell on the food in utter rapture and declared it the best meal they had ever eaten, saying what a wonderful wonderful cook I am. They are terribly easily pleased sometimes. :-D

5. After tea I did some googling and found snippets of some of the songs we've been singing at holiday club, along with a lot L1 and L2 know from Fusion. We listened and sang along to lots of them and I want to go out and buy several CDs now! I think I will have to build up a nice collection a little bit at a time, because it was so wonderful to hear them singing along and having such a great time! (And I love the songs just as much as they do!)

6. Tim will be home at about 11.30. I may be almost asleep by then, but it will be so good to have him home. The children have missed him as well, especially L2 who really is his dad's son. :-) The boys in the house have to stick together for solidarity - especially now with L1 growing up I'm not the only one with hormonal moods. ;-)

7. First cardigan sleeve all finished and all the ends darned in. Second sleeve has about 2 and a quarter inches of rib - it needs 3 inches and then I can start the exciting striping! Once the sleeves are done, the rest of the pattern looks frankly terrifying... so I am taking it one step at a time and not thinking too far ahead - I really want this cardigan and don't want to give up through fright!

8. Did I mention how cold I was? I think I might keep the heating on while I have my bath, and then my pjs will be warm on the radiator to get into afterwards!

9. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.......
