I just had to post. Relle finally, FINALLY, pottied the big #2 in her potty chair!!! ( rest under the cut for those uninterested. )

I am slowly working on hand sewing with whip stitch one of the back seams. My hand hurts from the work, as I am pulling the needle through three layers. I think I will pull out an even smaller needle and see if that works. Normally I use a 10 Sharp, but I think I have an 11 Millinery I can use. Maurelle just read her first book to me. She is only 3 years, 2 months, 3 weeks and 5 days old, according to my ticker. Yes, she had help. And I think she's actually memorized what I've said before as much as she "read" the words. But she looked at the words as she said them to me, and she was the one who wanted to read to me!

Rellie and I went on a walk; well I walked, she rode her new bicycle with training wheels; Tinkerbell style in purple. She even fell off once, as she turned her head to hear me tell her to slow down. Here's the inspirational crown, tho I want to build something similar in light wood, and painted in gold, not buy one of iron that might fall and really hurt the little princess.

We had a great day yesterday. We traveled to Felton (a hop above Santa Cruz on the coast), and spent the afternoon with Thomas the Tank Engine, one of Cam's birthday gifts, tho 'Elle got to enjoy it a lot more I think. ( kinda long... )
