Princess Maurelle really needs to have her own crown, above her day bed, yes?

Here's the inspirational crown, tho I want to build something similar in light wood, and painted in gold, not buy one of iron that might fall and really hurt the little princess.

I needed to put this down, before I closed up my browser.

I saw a diy galvanized tub crown one time cut from one of these

I like it. I have seen stuff like that in Downtown. Made of wood, but still heavy. Maybe one with a decorative shell crown jigsawed out of balsa, and then mounted over a sturdy curtain rod. And the curtains should be sparkly and sheer... because that just screams princess... LOL
