awwww yeah! i'm making progress now!

revision is due in five days, and i finally feel like i'm getting somewhere! cleaning up a few things in the beginning, and switching some big things around at the end. have to still revise and clean up a hundred or so pages in the middle, and then give my end one last big fat pass. which i can totalllllllly do ( Read more... )

got revision notes yesterday from david. they seem...manageable! i think a lot of the hardcore work will probably be done in line edits. david is big into his line edits. so for now, i've just got to plug a bunch of holes and unfinished scenes, rewrite a key moment from the beginning, and make all the writing a bit snappier and more awesome.
