Good luck with the move to Pittsburg. I am sure it won't be too bad. I might have to come visit you if you are still living there when I move to NYC. Don't worry, I won't creepy stalk you at your house/apartment, but we totally need to go to a cool bookshop/coffee place and get some tea or something! I have to say I am not sold on Easy Does It, but I don't really know what the book is about so maybe I would like it more if I knew. Alright enough reading comments Missy! Get back to typing!

Hi Siobhan! I'm taking Writing Youth Literature this semester and I found out a few moments ago that you are going to be my instructor. My heart swelled when I read a published YA author will be teaching the course because it is obvious you have a passion for the subject.

I'm sorry to say I have not read your work yet (though I'm definitely putting in a request at the library), but I am familiar with your name since I used to work in the children's department at Borders. Your unique name always caught my eye. I just don't get around to realistic fiction often because I'm usually engrossed in YA fantasy or picture books. This semester will probably change that.

Is it cool if I friend you here and on Facebook?

Thanks! Good luck with finding an apartment. Squirrel Hill is a nice place and a super short bus ride away from campus.

Yeah, I've been somewhat slack with my blog as well. I haven't posted since . . . April? And, it's so cool that you're speaking at the SCBWI conference in Westminster! I'm looking forward to hearing you speak. :)

I love music from the 80s and 90s. Especially the 80s, and I'm 14 :)

I like the title Easy Does It. That prompts me to sing one of my favorite songs by Common Rotation - love the lyrics:

Don't stop there
Keep going
It's not enough unless the bough breaks

Go ahead
Push the button
It's always more than once before it takes

Good luck with the writing, the moving, the time machine... :)
