Another play audition had finally come up, and Jim found himself genuinely looking forward to it. There was news he never wanted to hear. Disappearances were always hard in general, but a sort of fact of life. Jim knew the six months mark was coming up. Things had settled so much in the last few months, especially with Pam living with him now. With things back to normal, Jim fell back into his usual schedule. Jim wasn't much of a cook, or a party thrower, for that matter. He could, however, find enough leftovers to make sandwiches to stack up, and with a party that was as small as it was, that was enough. Jim had to admit, waking up to find the island didn't seem like it was going to do anything overtly strange - weird decorations aside - was a relief.
