The wedding felt like it was coming all too soon. It wasn't the getting married part he was worrying about as much as it was the preparations he had to focus on. It didn't get easier the second time around, just because the island definitely still didn't have everything available at his fingertips. He wanted this all to be special for her, even if it wasn't exactly perfect.
With Sam gone to spend some time in the day care and Pam out elsewhere, he spent some of his downtime in the hut in bed, a pad of paper next to him. He'd been writing down everything he knew they'd probably need and people they'd be able to talk to about it. Pam might nix a couple of his suggestions and add more or of her own to the list, but he figured it was a good start to have something general to look at.
She'd be back soon, he knew. He ought to have a decent list to show her by then.
