Jim had to admit, waking up to find the island didn't seem like it was going to do anything overtly strange - weird decorations aside - was a relief. It meant he didn't need to worry about something happening where Sam couldn't be taken cared of, and, honestly, it meant he could spend a pretty normal and quiet day with Pam.

Or as quiet as they could have, with a baby along.

He got up early, getting dressed and then getting Sam dressed. He figured he'd stop by Pam's on the way up to the Compound to get breakfast, but he knew there was something he needed to do first. With the amount of flowers dotting the island, he knew it wouldn't be hard to gather some to bring over. The idea was fun to Sam, too, who got a kick out of helping him pick what to bring.

By the time they were over there, he had a good handful, with Sam carrying a single one to give her on his own. He stood outside her hut's door, giving things one last lookover, before he knocked on the door. He just hoped he hadn't come too early and woken her up.
