Jim is one of the few people not-SGC that John considers an actual close friend - Pam is getting there again, too. I assume he sees him and Sam at least every other day, even if he's just saying hi in passing.

Yeah, that's how I figure it. Jim's probably around NA fairly often too, because I imagine Sam would want to see Uncle John. XD We need to thread them more together, wtf.

The Doctor would like to be better friends with Jim, especially now that there is OMG CHILDREN issue involved. They both are that trickster type...

We definitely need to thread them, more. \o/ Jim would be happy to help the Doctor figure out kid stuff, too, to the best of his ability. XD

So we haven't threaded them much lately, but Saffron still thinks Jim's the bee's knees, and even though she doesn't much like kids she thinks Sammy is totally cute, and would even babysit if Jim needed her to. :O I figure they see each other somewhat regularly, even if it's just running into each other in the kitchen or somewhere and stopping for a quick chat.

As you said, Veronica sees them daily. Lately this involves a lot more of them coming to her than the other way around, since she's still incredibly awkward around Pam and probably will be for god knows how long.
