Pam wasn't gone for very long, just time enough to get a couple things done at the Compound before she headed back to the hut. Finding Jim hanging out in bed when she got back wasn't particularly surprising, but she couldn't help looking a little curious when she saw he was writing something. "Hey," she said, coming over to take a seat beside him and glancing down at the pad of paper. "What's this?"

"This," he began, sitting up a little when he saw her heading over. "Is a list of things we still need for the wedding. Or stuff I think we need, anyway. I was hoping you'd be back soon, have some time to plan this out with me?"

"Absolutely," Pam replied without hesitating, not bothering to try to hide her smile. She couldn't say she was surprised, but it was still something entirely new, having him take the initiative when she'd pretty much done the whole thing herself before. Just because she didn't need reassurance that she was doing the right thing with this didn't mean it wasn't nice anyway. "What've you got so far? Let me see."

"Just a lot of the basics we have left," he said, handing it over as he slid down to lay out again - the position he was originally in. "I figure the sooner we know, the better. I can't believe the wedding's in two months."

That wasn't to say, of course, he wasn't excited about it. He figured she knew that already, if only by the way he smiled when he said it.
